I suppose the gun could use other cartridges that would benefit from the lug. Tuner/brake is shown and not typically used on a 6 Dasher but.....

With a 2.200" ejection port and a recoil lug you can shoot a WSM. Mine all have recoil lugs for that reason. Some are "bolt-on" like the M action to the bottom, the newer ones are machined right on the front of the action, so the headspace remains the same when switching barrels around
