SOLD Bat SB - 6mm PPC Multiflat, on Blue Scoville Stock RBRPLE

As the title says, I'm selling my 6mm PPC bench gun. This is the last gun I own that was originally built by Dwight Scott, and this one was stocked by Bob Scoville with weight system, that is currently not being used as it is currently at 10 lbs. 7oz. It is a Stainless Steel Bat Multiflat SB action, in RBRPLE configuration with special attention by Dwight.

I have 2 barrels to sell with it, both chambered for .262" NK. The one on it I just put on this summer and has less than 300 rounds thru it, and was chambered by Billy Stevens on a 1-13.5" twist Krieger LV barrel at 5 LBS, and it does shoot exceptionally well.

It will also come with the previous barrel which has around 700 to 800 rounds on it. This rifle makes weight by 1 oz with the current setup including the 42x NF scope and rings, which is not part of this sale, as this is for rifle and stock case and bases only, with the extra barrel. The extra barrel shoots competitively, but I doubt it will hold for another full season, but could compete and is a great practice and fireforming barrel.

I am including the SKB hard case with the rifle and it will be shipped in it. I will include a dummy round and the load used for this current barrel, as This is what placed me 3rd overall for the year using this setup for 5 of the 8 matches at my home range this year competing against both light and heavy Varmint class rifles. The 222 Panda might have cost me a little using it the first 3 out of 4 matches. looking for $3500.00 for the rifle as shown less the scope, with the second barrel and the SKB case it is shown with.

Some Brass and bullets are negotiable to the buyer at the time of sale, price is FTF for transfer within a reasonable distance.

Hard to get good pics today, it finally quit raining so I grabbed a few quick. There is a couple minor scuffs but all in all this is a beautiful rifle that shoots as good as it looks. I got a good picture of the one scratch in front of the trigger guard that is into the finish. I'm sure it would look like new with a good buff job, but that one scratch on the bottom is probably to deep to buff out? I just want to make sure I pointed that out.

Seeing this makes me realize why you hosed me down in the postal match! ;)

Beautiful rifle. I hope the next owner knows what he is getting. GLWS

All PM's answered. I will try and explain some misconceptions on this action. It is not the same as the SV, it is the same exterior dimensions of the "B" action, this allows for the same bedding surface advantage of the "B" footprint, but allows the use of the shorter throw XP Size bolt. Shorter stroke with the smoothness and and torque of the longer rotation like all 2 lug bolts on all the other 2 lug Bat actions. It has nothing in common with the 3 three lug bolt at all.

I was limited to pictures and did not get to show the scratch under the forearm mentioned above so here is that picture.

I also have some pictures of the bolt face and one of the lugs that clearly show the condition, the opposite lug is the same condition just did not come out with enough detail to show so if you like I can try and take another, but it as smooth and a mirror image to the lug shown. This rifle has been well taken care of and has more case wear than anything else. These pictures show that and the true low round count on this rifle.

This one showing of the but weight system as well, which at this time with this setup is not needed to get at that 10.5 lbs limit, and is as stated just shy of 1oz of the 10.5 lbs light varmint weight limit. Making certain it will make weight on any scale as I have it setup.

Nope, that would have been unfair snert. I shot the Mcmillan stocked Panda in 222 on both those postal matches. That rifle shoots very good, but not as good as this 6mm does, especially with me guiding it at 200 yards. A man Has to know his limitations, and conditions are my biggest weakness, not my equipment,,, ;)But thanks for the approval!!

This rifle is still for sale.

Also I have had a couple PM's questioning the description of the action, it is as stated, right bolt, right port and left eject.

Be sure if you are wanting it shipped, that your FFL will accept it from a non FFL shipper, thanks again,

No trades at this time.
