Would anyone know of someone who could put an ejector in a bolt. My action came right bolt left load no ejector. It has the sliding gate extractor. Just kind of a pita to shoot quick with having to pull case out. I like it when I’m shooting dawgs but not shooting paper.

Any help would be appreciated.

It’s glued in the stock. Nothing wrong with it but would just like it to eject. I talked to bat. They want me to get a complete new bolt and send them the action and let them make sure it fits right and I really don’t want to have someone take it out of the stock and take a chance of ruining the Robertson stock it is in.

I’ve heard of some really good competitors who shoot without an ejector, I was kinda surprised. If you can flick it out with a finger I think you can go pretty fast. My 284 is like that it does fine even when I don’t….

Another option, relearn your firing procedure.
1. Fire a round.
2. Open bolt and pull back.
3. Insert fresh round ahead of the fired case.
4. While your finger is right there, flick the spent case out onto the bench top.

The port is long enough to feed a fresh round in ahead of the previously fired case.

It takes a little practice, but can be almost as fast as an ejector gun.

what jerry said^^

technique matters! keep your head down and learn to acquire the sight picture as you push the rifle forward. by that time you are closing the bolt on a round.
