BAT Monte Carlo Varmint stock, curious if anyone has had one made for them and what you think of it. Did you get it unfinished or completed? Pictures
Thanks Dusty,Ive seen a couple. They are a very nice looking stock. I believe boyds makes them and bat modifies them or boyds finishes them to their specs.
I doubt either would tell, but the butt pads say boyds on themThanks Dusty,
Interesting, I didn’t give much thought that someone like Boyd’s would be making them. Think I will give them a call tomorrow and inquire.
Ya, I didn’t mean for that to read like I was gonna call them and ask who is making them, I figured if it’s good enough for the folks at BAT then it’s most certainly good enough for me! Just want to inquire about lead times and such… Was hopeful that a few members might have one and share a little about it.I doubt either would tell, but the butt pads say boyds on them
They are a very nicely finished stock with nice carbon fiber and a very nice clear job. Its definitely up a notch from a boydsYa, I didn’t mean for that to read like I was gonna call them and ask who is making them, I figured if it’s good enough for the folks at BAT then it’s most certainly good enough for me! Thank you. I see they are in Hayden, ID so it would make since they might be the builder.I’m not sure about the MCV
On the Benchrest stock Steve told me a couple years ago to reach out to Jeff directly to order a cedar BR carbon fiber

Did you post a few weeks ago about it? I thought I had seen a post but couldn’t find anything recent when I did a search.I just got a BR stock (cedar) from BAT a couple of weeks ago (unfinished). Very nice stock, I spoke with Daryle at BAT and had it inletted for a DS with no grip and a drop port. I'll try to upload pics a bit later.
I may have, heck don't ask me a question that was longer than 10 minutes ago! LOL I'm old! (I think I did!)Did you post a few weeks ago about it? I thought I had seen a post but couldn’t find anything recent when I did a search.
