BAT HR, firing pin assembly removal

I have a BAT HR action with the modular bolt design. Is it possible to remove the shroud/firing pin assembly without buying the speacialized disassembly tool from BAT?

I will be buying the tool, but while im
waiting, was wondering if i can get it apart by pushing on the cocking piece and twisting like you can a Rem 700? Or perhaps some other method? Figured I'd ask before i break something. Lol. Thanks

If I read that right all you want to do is to remove the fire control assy (pin, shroud, spring, etc)?

If so while holding the bolt with one hand just grab and turn the shroud an 1/8 turn CW with the other hand and it’ll all pop out. Reverse it by sliding the bayonet lugs in, with the nose of the bolt against the bench top press down fully on the shroud compressing the spring and rotate CCW 1/8 turn until the nose of the cocking piece drops into the detent. No tool needed.

Awesome. I'll give it a go. Thank you!
