Bat DS?

What is the story on the DS action?

Most of Bruce`s other actions have a couple of different versions,what makes the DS something special???

Do they use a notch for a recoil lug??

I looked at Bat`s site but couldn`t find much info on them........

ANY info on them would be helpful.

The DS version is from a several hour sitting between Dwight Scott (DS) and Bruce Thom. Dwight had been using Farley, and Hall actions in the past, and Bruce wanted Dwight to visit and help him model an action. Dwight offered up details he deemed important, and Bruce named the model after him. I do know this DS action has the roller cocking piece, and am foggy on many other features. To me is`s an honor for such a fine person and extrememly talented gunsmith, who also shot himself to the winners circle in 2000 for the no 1 spot at the Super Shoot.

I remembered it was named after someone,but if you asked me i couldn`t tell you who..... ;D

The DS has a proprietary roller cocking action not typically used in the other models. I had to order it special for the B action.
