If I read it right on Bart's site, One is a retired die, and the
other replaces it. Only Bart can say if it's a direct dimensional
replacement though.

I don‘t know about the 68s, but I love me some 80 grain Boat Tail Dominators in my 12 Twist BRA.

One is a 6/9 and the other is a 7/9 ogive as I recall and were both still in production as of the last I knew (about 3 months ago). Both are very good and dependable shooting bullets. The Dominators have to seat a bit deeper in the case than the Avengers for me. They both shoot quite well. JME. WD

I just jumped on Bart's site and the Avenger is a 6/9. And It's the
68 gr Ultimate that has been retired.

I measured my Avengers and Dominator, 68gr. Barts bullets. I used my Sinclair comparator, so YMMV. It's obvious that the Dominator has a smaller ogive radius.
Here's my results:

Avenger OAL= .841" BTO= .405"
Dominator OAL= .857" BTO= .451"
