Barts 105 Gungnir question

I going to load up some 105 Gungnir’s in my BRX. Does anyone know if they like to be in or out of the lands and in general how much?

They shot well for me touching the lands. Didn’t try jumping nor jamming…

Yes, Bart told me that Gungnirs have a lot more bearing surface than Hammers. He recommended a five tenths lower starting load for Gungnirs.

The Gungnir definitely has more bearing surface.
I shot them going on two years.
I was told Gungnirs are close to Berger 108 BT Match as to seating depth.
I did not find that true. The Berger is much easier to tune. I tried Gungnirs touching, jammed anywhere from 5-10 thou, off out to 10 thou and a wide variation of powder charges. Never got them to be as consistent as the Berger has been.

Shot them with the same base to ogive as the Berger 105 hybrid with similar results.

I usually seat them .006 to .010 in from touch. Back off your normal powder load 2 to 3 tenths. They have a lot of bearing surface and it doesn’t take as much powder to get them up to velocity.
