Bart's 103g Dominator vs 105g Infinity

Can anyone describe the differences for me between the two listed bullets? Plan is to use this rifle for MR Fclass in a 7.5" twist and an 8.4" twist 6 Dasher barrels.

I am not sure what the differences are between these two bullets to decide which would be a better match for this type of competition. I assume I should try both and see which shoots better, but any insight you could give me regarding these bullets would be appreciated.

I would love to support a fellow Kentuckian.

Thanks in advance.

I've shoot small with all those, and now I will see what his new 105 will do. I can tell you this the new 105 is very uniform..... So I'm sure they will hammer..... Jim

Jim,
I got some 105 Infinity bullets of a prize table at the 600 yard Nationals I want to try. My question to you is will they shoot well off the lands or did you have to (not want to) jam them?
Thanks!

Feed your barrel what it likes best. Bart told me that he had better results with the 103 over the 105 Infinity, but my barrel prefers the 105 Infinity. The 105 Dominator is also a great choice, but I don't know if it will be better in my barrel. Bart may have a new 105 out soon with a 13 ogive rather than a 15. If Bart puts a bullet on the market, you can be sure that it has been thoroughly tested. So far the 105 Infinity has been the best bullet for both my Dasher and 6 BR-AI. Good shooting...James

The picture shows a 3-shot group shot at 200 yards with the 105 gr. Infinity pushed by 30.6 gr. of H4895 in a 8 twist Brux barrel with Ezell tuner.

Shot this 5 shot group at 200yds testing them out in my new Dasher Wensday, shot five different load ladders, this load was the best or tied for the best in all five ladders, so I think it will become my new load, have to start palying with the tuner now.

Jim, on the 105 guninger start out throttled back some. I didn't get very far before freeze up, but did discover that they make pressure sooner then some other similar weight bullets.

Tom

Thanks Tom, once I get the gun done and the temp get reasonable I will give them try, I did some testing and they seem reasonable and they sure are uniform...... Jim

Even more confused now.

103g Dominator, 105g Infinity, 105 Dominator, 105 Guninger, 13 vs 15 ogive, etc.

Can anyone clarify some of the differences between these bullets? Is there a way I can get 100 or so of each to trial?

Thoughts??

Just Call Bart's, he's usually happy to talk to ya, just don't keep him on the phone too long or he won't get any bullets shipped. They've sent me out samples of one or two hundred to try out before. Bet they'd do the same for you.

Not shooting a Dasher but, any idea what Bart's 6mm bullets will do at higher velocities, (3200-3300)?
