Bartlein barrels in stock?

Try Grizzly Tool. You can view the contours and calibers they try to keep in stock but you will have to call them for actual inventory.

I checked their website but did not know that was not real time inventory. I'll call. Thanks

Go to Snipers Hide and go to the forum. Scroll to bottom of page and click on commercial sales. Their is a fellow on their i believe bugholes that sells them. He has some and is always getting them in. You know what, they are Rock Creek barrels sorry but check out if you want.

Search for member rcw3 here. Last month he had some Bartlein M40 contour, .30 cal barrels for sale with 1:11.25 twist.

My shooting partner and I was at Kelby's last fall, I remember during the shop tour, Ian mentioned about stocking Bartein barrels.

Hope this helps...

As a matter of fact, after my dealings with Lester at Bruno's, I would'nt let him build me a good set of hemroids. He is "off his rocker".....no doubt........

Why Bat continues to allow him as a distributer , I don't know.

Sorry to hijack this thread....has nothing to do with op's post... I'm just pissed..

Well, I guess Lester Bruno could upgrade his inventory computer system, or hire someone to reflect "real-time" inventory.....but that would increase his overhead....therefore his pricing would also increase.
Those with the "Gotta have it now" mentality will be awful frustrated in this specialized world of accurate rifles.....and it's only going to get worse with today's economic woes.

Ok, I'll bite; why do you think Lester is "off his rocker?" I've shot with him in a couple of tournaments and he doesn't seem any crazier than the rest of us.

thefitter: Keep at it until you find one. I love my Bartleins. I have two MTU .308 10" twist on Borden and Pierce rifles and three more on other actions. They all shoot very well. At the same time, so do my Brux, Krieger and Shilen barrels.

Attached target is the work of the Pierce with Berger FULLBORE at 300.

Poor customer service to say the least.

Not to mention lying to me over the phone just to get my cc charged (my guess) for something he told me was in stock and was'nt. Then acted like I was crazy because "why would I tell you somethings in stock when its not". He even described the action and all the specs on it and said it would be dellivered immedeatly upon FFL info. Called him the next day and he basically called me a lier and that he never told me that. He was very rude and will not get my business again.

He was more interested in telling me how he was a rifle smith and if I needed a gun built he could do it for me .

I just had a bad experiance with him. I don't know how old he is, but maybe that had something to do with it. He might be getting past his prime when it comes down to business and people relations. In that case, I'll cut him some slack and wish him well. But he really made me very mad at the time. Sorry to rant on an open forum at a business, I am finished. Others just beware. Thats the only good thing about vetting on a forum.

thefitter, sorry to hi jack your thread again. Won't do it no more...
