Bartlein Barrel Group Buy....20Cal.

Andy221 is trying to get a group buy started over on Saubier.com.

If anyone is interested in placing an order there is a thread for
JUST ORDERS as well as another discussion thread available.

PLEASE don`t get them confused as Andy is trying to gather this info correctly to pass on to Bartlein.

This buy is for thier .20cal. barrels......and is located in the Small Caliber Discussion Forum.

AFWIW,

I recall this from many years ago. Andy221 put it together and there was about (20) + orders for the .20 cal barrel blanks from Bartlein. The problem was Bartlein wouldn't ship to the individuals who ordered the blanks. They would only ship the whole bundle to Andy221...then he had to re-ship to the individuals. Kinda made it not worth while in my opinion paying twice the cost in shipping. The price from Bartlein was just okay. I ordered two and a friend of mine got a couple. I decided then to just ordered them direct even though the price was a few dollars more.

The sad thing is I'm not sure Andy221 ended up even getting one of the blanks and he had put a lot of time and effort in setting it up.

I had kind of forgot about this. Andy221 was quite the gentleman handling the order. I believe there was a hic up from Bartlein and Andy took some heat for things out of his control. I believe he lost money on the deal trying to help others out.
