Barska SWAT 10-40x50 Side parallax

Is this scope even worth looking at? I saw one come in today off the truck at my store, its a 30mm tube 10-40x with a side parallax adjuster. 269$ . But from what I've heard Barska has the reputation of Tasco. But even Tasco managed the Super Snipers. Any experience with this scope?

Dunno about their scopes, but I bought a 60mm Barska binocular, and it was horrible. Didn't take long to return it to Dunham's for a full refund. You only get what you pay for. Heard that before, huh?

I've looked at a few Barska scopes at the range. Usually it's newbies or the naive that buy them in hope of beating the old "you get what you pay for" adage. In Barska's case you don't get what you pay for. You get less!

Well thanks for the advice, this scope is only a few dollars cheaper than an SWFA, I will most likely just go with an SS16 or 20 and try to save myself some disappointment.
