Barrel thread adapter

Installing a muzzle brake on my rifle. Had to buy a barrel thread adapter from Brownells for brake. Should I apply Blue Lock tight to threads on barrel for adapter ?

Are you ever going to remove it? You can use rocksett or my suggestion would be get the correct size brake. If youre doing this i take it the exit hole is probably the wrong size too and will probably not work well anyway. If its going to get scorching hot id use the rocksett- loctite turns loose in the heat

Its for my 7mm WSM 26" #4 contour bbl, didn't want to cut off any of the bbl so I was advised to use this bbl adapter . Its a PVA Shock wave Brake they make two, one for 6.5 and 308 ,the bore measures .330 .
