Barrel set back

Personally , I wouldn't waste any more brass or bullets down that tube . I suggest a new barrel . Easy enough to do , you already have the gauges .
I agree with the barrel being at the end. But my question is should that brass have separated with those numbers. Would that same brass separate in a new barrel? Please remember, most of this is new to me. I want to learn!
Thanks Bill

I don't think it should have separated . It's likely a brass problem but I've not heard of any other straight 6 br problems .
One thing I didn't ask , nor has anyone else I think . Does he have multiple she'll holders , different she'll holders can push the shoulder more /less than others . Somehow I think we are missing the answer to the problem .
Your a good friend to do this !

He brought his dies and shell holder in the factor box ,am assuming he only uses that set. The die is set to push the shoulder have 1 1/2 thousands and does that 3 out of the 3 i sized.
Thanks Bill

Update--- had my buddy open a new box (different lot) take 1 piece, prep, shoot, prep , shoot ect 5 times. He did, no issues, and primer pockets still tight, brass has no issues. He has already contacted Lapua, has sent pictures of separated brass. Will wait on reply. Thanks to all for listening, helping and schooling. If this is not worth $20.00 to help keep this site running I'm not sure what to say. Here's a 5 shot group with the rifle in question. 30 gr varget, smk now jumping .070. 100 yds measures .171
Thanks Bill 2830.jpeg

I started to say, I need some of that gadget powder! Either I misread it or you changed it while I was typing...Either way...NICE!
