Barrel reamer 308

Good morning, afternoon, or evening depend on where you located and time.

I am putting a rifle together, just ordered a new barrel from Pac Nor threaded and chambered.
I will need to use a finish reamer to cut the last .100-.200.

My question is what is the different from match .308 reamer and and regular 308 finish reamer???

please help

Match 308 reamer

The word "match" has no universal meaning as it applies to reamers, just like barrels. Call Clymer to find out what it means. I have a number of JGS reamers and their match reamers are made to minimum SAAMI specs, rather than being anywhere from minimum to maximum chamber dimension. You might also call PacNor and ask what size their reamer is. Short chambered barrels carry the risk of not matching reamer sizes and you can wind up with the part you reamed being a different dimension from the barrel manufacturer's portion. Ideally, you should use one with the same dimensions or a hair larger.

What @SBS said.

Many “match reamers ” are simply ground to where the chamber is at the minimum specs to chamber a factory round.
Things such as neck diameter, throat length, body dimensions etc are, unless specifically noted, still pretty generous when compared to our custom dimensioned grinds.

IF your new barrel has a std saami chamber and you get a match reamer , you COULD end up with a chamber and neck having 2 different diameters or steps in the neck area . If you have a match chamber and get a std reamer you will MOST likely end up with a std saami chamber . Find out from your barrel company what the reamer specs are , so if needed to finish ream you can use a reamer similar to it .
It would be easier to havethem chamber deep ( .010 or less ) then cut the excess off . Of course this would require a lathe .
