Barrel making preference. (button-pull, hammer forge...)

Hello,
I have ran Bartlein and Rock creek and both are single point cut I also have a Shilen that is button pulled. My Shilen is considerably "rougher" on the inside than the Bart. and Rock. Whats your experience and preference with different barrels? I understand that the person chambering your barrel is the most important; meaning that no matter who makes it if the "smith" doing the work is an idiot the make of the barrel won't matter.
Thanks

I had to self teach about barrel break in to stop copper fouling. My procedure is very efficient and effective. That being said i did have one barrel that had to be replaced because it would not stop coppering. Cut rifled. Nobody knows why either. The replacement barrel stopped coppering after about 8-10 shots.

I have had good results with both, but cut seem to retaind top accuracy longer in my experience,

price per round of barrel life is about the same. Pay a little more for cut rifled and it'll generally be accurate a little longer. A little less for button barrels, a little shorter life.

I like em all, as long as it’s a well made barrel. Cut, button, and even some good hammer forged. I picked up a couple LW hammer forged blanks last year and took one down to Brux to get contoured on their tracer lathe and Norm Brux was quite impressed with it. Still need to chamber it and wring it out, but I have high hopes for it.

I like them both and depending on what bullet I use I choose the appropriate barrel type - button or cut
Shilen button barrels have been good to me and Krieger cut rifled mainly with the odd Bartlein
