Barrel Glue In

For those of you who have glued a barrel into a CZ45X, Ruger 10/22, etc., what have your results been? Did it help? Thanks all, Brian.

I have several 457s and three 10/22s with glue in barrels. I'm not sure if the glue helped but they certainly seem to shoot well. No problems related to the installations to this point.

I glued a couple 10/22 barrels back 10yrs or so ago, but as 1Merlin has stated, couldn't tell you if it really helped. It sure didn't hurt any, as they did shoot well. I do have a CZ 457 .17HMR Varmint, but it is not glued. It was a 'pandemic' buy when the only .17's available were 24" At-Ones. It shot decent, then I sold the junk Boyd's stock and put it in a CZ walnut varmint stock with the plastic pillars and did a trigger spring change. No need to experiment with glue after that. 1/2" five shot groups @ 100yds with sorted ammo on a good day. 3/4"-1" with non-sorted ammo.
