barrel channel contour options for HS Precision stocks

I haven't found where on the http://www.hsprecision.com/ site that barrel channel contour options for their stocks, varmint in particular) are listed, or whether they do custom contours.
Is anyone familiar with their site or otherwise knowledgeable about their product range?

I would send them an email but they don't give an address. A mutually satisfactory time of day for Australia/USA phone call is limiting.

I spoke to HS about this about a month ago. I was told they do
not offer barrel contour as an option, most of their contours saw after the Remington barrel contour. In fact, color scheme is about the only choice you can make on the selections. However their barrel channel can be modified, open up) very easily with just simple hand tools such as files and scrapers, follow by some light sanding and touch up painting will make it look very nice.

I know there's one barrel channel contour option that isn't remington standard with their varmint stocks for rem 700 - a 1.25" straight barrel contour channel can be had as an alternative to the Remington Varmint contour.

Length of pull is another option, as is whether you have twin front swivel studs.

Either HS is reducing its options or the rep you spoke to was not helpful.

I have several H-S P stocks. The model that mimicks the M700 PSS factory rifles is set up with a Remington Varmint barrel channel. Both the vertical grip long range stock and the tactical stock,US Army M24 style) are furnished with a barrel channel that will accept straight tapered barrels. Mine accept a #7 contour barrel with plenty of clearance.

I guess if I go with the 1.25" straight contour varmint stock barrels of all contours will fit in that. Some of those barrels will have a larger than usual gap to the stock, but perhaps that is no bad thing because it will allow better cooling.

I see the model id of the 1.25" straight contour varmint stock for Rem 700 SA BDL is PSV57. This model is on a distributor's site but not on the HS site!

"1.25" straight contour varmint stock barrels of all contours will fit in that"

Keep in mind that offer is limited to a few of the models only. As for the Jewell, the varmint trigger with safety and bolt release with fit just fine, but on some of the older ADL trigger guard you may have to relieve a small area,1cm) for clearance.

Good, I have BDL. Thanks.

Jewell trigger, HS-P stock ... what's the rest of your gun, and how does it shoot?

It's a live varmint rig in 22BR w/.242nk build on a 40x, LV hart 1-14 finished to 26 & mounted in the HS PSC16. I went ahead and FL bedded the action with Devcon in addition to the bedding block, i really think it helps. With a 20X scope she will stay in the low .2s all day with 52g Berger MEF and V135.
I really like the stock and it was easy to change the barrel channel to match the barrel contour. Have I do it over, I think I would stay with no turn neck lapua brass, as I really can't see any accuracy gain from my other gun with no turn neck.

ghermitage,
One thing I forget to mention, if you order a HS stock, do expect it longer than the ETD date.
My exprience with McMillan stock is usually right on or a week early. But I can't say that about the HS, I was told 12 weeks when I placed the order, it turned out to be 22 weeks.

They can my business twice, the first and last.
