Barnes TSX, 30 cal 130 gr ?

I hunt whitetail with specialty pistols. This year I plan to use my MOA Maximum chambered in 308 Win. This handgun wears a 10 inch braked barrel. Considering using the Barnes TSX 130 grainer. I have not chroned the load, but would guess based on date that MV is around 22-23 hundred. Is this enough for proper bullet performance ? Thanks.

Yes sir I used these last year in a short wildcat and at 200 yds it still opened as advertised I purchased more sizes and calibers because they exceeded my expectations. I also handgun hunt a fair bit with a .30 br with these as well.
Good luck.

If you can't get the Barnes to shoot like you want get you some 125 Nosler ballistic tips. They work perfectly on deer out of pistols. Matter of fact they work in anything if you keep the impact velocity under 3000 fps. Midway has some in stock right now.
