barnes match burners

i never found barnes bullets to be very accurate...target and varmint. however, i recently gave a try to the above 69 gr 22 cal bullets in my 22 BR and most recently in my 222BRX. they are AWSOME! opened the box and they looked serious. measured weight and most were only 0.1 gr difference. there were just a few 0.3 off. base to ogive were very close, none more than .003 thous difference. they are shooting one hole groups and to beat it all...the price is right! anybody tried these or the other .224 cal or the 6mm, 6.5mm, or 30 cal?

The one thing that I have found about TSX or TTSX is that they need a lot of jump usually. in several of my hunting rifles they are very accurate, but almost all of my loads are now .060" off (some even a little more). I have a Ruger 77 in 300 mag that was always just a so-so shooter, but with 168 TTSX, it honestly puts 3 into one ragged hole with RL22. Does a nice number on bull elk also! I haven't had a chance to try the match burners yet, Dave

I've had some real good luck w/ .224 tripple shocks. Thinking that luck would be relative I tried the heavy MBs for my fast twist 223. No luck there. Shot better w/ tripple shocks.
