Barnes 95gr to 3550?

Hello,

I am looking for a cartridge that will push the new barnes 95gr tsx to around 3550 fps out of a 26 inch barrel. I was originally thinking the 6x284 but I am also wondering about the 243ai.

I'm not too worried about barrel life but the less case work the better.

thoughts?

Do you mean the 95 LRX?

I load the 110 gr. TTSX for my wife's .270. Velocities around 3400. It's a great shooter as the groups shrank when I got near the published max charge of H4350.
She recently tagged a Central Washington Mule deer at 340 yards. Bang flop.
Perfect bullet performance and zero tracking!

I have had a couple 6x284s ,1 was 1x9t and ran berger 105 hybirds @ 3520. And 2 1x7.5t pushing 115 dtac rbt @ 3310 with retumbo. They are fun to blow ghogs with. Barrel life was about 6 to 700 rounds. But man it was fun. They were 30" tubes.

So it seems like maybe it's possible with the 6x284...

Can anyone with QL maybe run a test with the 6x284 seated to 3.1 (just guessing based off 6.5x284) and the 243AI seated at 2.95 with a 26 inch barrel??
