Has anybody tried Barnes 110 30 cal. on whitetails? Bought a couple boxes gonna try em in a 308. Getting tired of getting the crap kicked out of me. Doug

I don’t know about the 110’s, but the 130’s are deadly.

Thanks guys, I just got a wild hair and thought Id try em. One of my 308s is a featherweight model 70 gonna try em in that. It aint no fun if you cant try new loads. Its a 1 in 12 it oughta handle light bullets. Doug

Use the fastest burn rate powder for which you can find data if you really want to cut down the recoil.

H322 with 125s is wicked fast and really light recoil in a 308 I load for.

This is good advice. I have loaded another brand of 110 grain bullet in 308, using a powder very similar to H322.

The Hodgdon reduced H4895 loads also work well.
