The stock has a wet look...... 11twist palma barrel chambered and installed by Whidden Gunworks. This is a first-class Palma rifle. Previous owner made the Palma 20 with this rifle several times. Yep, that's one that Shirley whittled out! Someone did a great job of finishing it; you must use automotive clear on that blue (Rutland Plywood) wood or it turns brown in the sun!

On the subject of rutland plywood, what is the current source for laminated plywood?

After the Rutland plant burned down, Cousineau Wood Products began producing blanks. We used some of their first ones, and we experienced some that separated, evidently from insufficient glue. Darrel Landolt, the gentleman who took over from us, has used quite a few from them with no issues, so evidently they're just fine now.
