Barnard Bolt Disassembly

Would someone be kind enough to describe the disassembly procedure for a Barnard bolt? Think Barnard Bolts for Dummies.

Thanks - Dennis L

The metric allen/hex wrench of proper size inserted into the firing pin shroud to assist un-seating the machined surfaces & turn counter clock wise.

Dennis,

Unscrew the "cap" at the rear of the bolt, this will reveal the firing pin assembly that you should then be able to simply slide out.

degrease the threads and put a small dab of blue locktight on them when you reasemble. I'll esplain why at the next 3x600

So since I wont be able to make it to the next 3x600, care to explain why it needs locktight?

Admittedly I don't shoot my Barnard that often, but I have certainly never had any hint of a problem with this thread coming undone.
