And even when you believe your phone is off, I believe it still sends out a ping on occasion and can be tracked.. Notice how pings have helped LE and other locate someone, often ? You hear about it on the news reports all the time.
BofA is not the only one giving information about you to government.. Others are also, even you friendly family doctor. Have you been asked about having or owning guns lately ?

This has to be a violation of our 4th amendment rights, under unlawful search and seizure. Unless they had a subpoena for the information I don't understand how this would be legal?

Read the fine print on almost anything these day that you sign up for.. apps for your cell phone, CC, etc. There is no more privacy.

I spent 35 years in the banking business. Many years ago, the FBI would come and ask for information about a customer and I would provide it to them. Then, the law was changed and it required the FBI, or anyone else, to have a Court Order before I could provide them with ANY information. We stuck to that law completely, although the FBI would still come in and ask for information without the proper documentation. I would inform them that they needed a Court Order before I could comply. Of course, they already knew that, but would still try us. It seems to me that BOA would be liable for a substantial Law Suit.

Any LE can obtain a Court Order in a hot minute anymore, with the courts and the way judges are. It is not a problem with them to get one, way more easy than in years past.

I severed my only connection with with BoA years ago by canceling a credit card backed by them for a business I did business with. Never regretted that decision - one less credit card was no big deal.

Just for those that believe "We the People" still have privacy and rights under the Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution. Those are going away very fast, the way the courts and now the socialist/communism of Biden/Harris and the PARTY/SQUAD are in power and it is going to be even more so, in the next four years.
Some that voted for these commies are already seeing it, but folks, it is too late to do anything about it, so buckle up and hold on to what you have and can, while you can. And pray that it changes the next time around, if there is a next time.
