Ballistic software on pda/mobile

Hi, What ballistic software do you run on your pda/mobile?
Whats the setup ...hardware/software? How do you rate it?
Thanks in advance Tom

A timely post!

I live in England and have for years run a Palm Treo using Palm rather than Windows software.

On this I have a copy of Pejsa
http://www.pejsa.com/

and something called Pocket SSF which certainly only used to be available in Palm, and available as a free download. Having just looked it's still there but as my firewall found an infection, I will not post the link here. It gives results very close to those of Pejsa and also gives a scope & reticle display showing holdover for elevation & windage. I use it mostly for ranges sub 600 yards but occasioanlly beyond.

Right now, I'm a little tempted by an IPhone but would not want to lose exterior ballistics capability.,I did try a Blackberry but found it inferior to the Treo.)

I use Bullet flight on my I-pod touch. I hear it's a version of ex-ball. I'ts also in use with the US mititary.

The best I've used on a Palm is from Horus Vision. I've use the ATragMX version for long range shooting of three rifles with great results.

For less demanding applications they also offer ATrag2X and ATrag1X versions - match your needs and budget.

I use Precision Shooter's Workbench on my PDA and desktop. Works great and you can adjust the deceleration constant to match your particular load.

Me again - formerly tikkathreebarrels, now plain old tikkathree!
The time has come for me to upgrade cell phone and I shall be leaving Palm OS behind. I shan't be buying an Iphone but will end up with something using either Android or Symbian so a quick update please guys on what's available as an app and how much you like or dislike it?
What I really need on my phone is the facility to dial in variable "distance to target" for a range of calibre, BC, MV and have elevation/windage figures by way of output.

I have been using the Knight Bullet Flight App for 2 plus years now both in the field hunting and at the range, it works splendid and being able to accurately measure tilt angle on the go is great, I simply hold the Ipod/Iphone up to the scope eyepiece and hit "GET". I love it! I recently purchased the Ballistic FTE App, it seems very capable as well and I could see it becoming my go-to program once I learn to navigate it better but for right now Bullet Flight is so easy to use I just can't help but go to it.

Guys
I read that Bryan Litz had launched a ballistic program for Android phones, it was announced On the daily blog so take a look.

I have tried all of the software for Win mobile, palm and iPhone, I now use ballistic And the knight armament apps purely for quickness and ease of use, they both download realtime gps data with weather and atmospherics which is pretty cool, I verified this software to 1600 yards recently within 1/2 moa which in my book is not bad.

If you want big time detail and the most options Loadbase is the one, however it can be complicated.

Regards
Gary
