Ballistic Edge Annealer

I don't own the Ballistics Edge Annealer but is was one I was looking at prior to purchasing my Bench Source Annealer. The Ballistic Edge will anneal your 6BR cases or just about anything else you want. If you haven't taken a look at the Bench Source it would be in your best interest to do so.

It works great on 6BR cases, a lot less moving parts and easier to use. The large heat sink is a bonus to protect the base of the case. the bench source dose not offer that.

I have a ballistics edge and dont have a need for the heat sink as long as you have a couple junker cases to set the timer which is what you do with all of them. It has a universal wheel on the cheaper model with 2 torches. It isnt as estectically pleasing as the ones with a case rotator but it does the job just fine.

Jon, I, too, thought about responding to jrdragdad post because of the things he said. "The Balistics Edge has less moving parts". For me, that needs further explaination. Appears they both have a wheel that rotates. "Heat sink is a bonus". Really? If one needs a heat sink, then their annealing process needs some work. Wearing safety glasses, I have annealed brass with active primers in them without mishap. I don't recommend doing this, so don't. It looks to me like both the Bench Source and the Ballistics Edge will get the job done in a similar manner. I must admit, I do have the Bench Source and after reading about the Bench Source, they both do exactly the same thing in almost the same manner. I have annealed from Hornet to 338 on my machine without problems and I am sure the Ballistics Edge will do the same.
