I have bog pod CLD aluminium tripod
A pal has the same and I put it together for him yesterday after his parts came in.
Holds my ar15 perfectly.

Neewer Arca mlock mount, 28$
Cavix h46 ball head 46$
Slide 1/4" bolt up from bottom, screws right onto head, red locktite threads, tighten up nothing to it.
I had bought the deathgrip, but it's just heavy as heck and more so with gun attached, sent it back.
