Bald Eagle Rest Carrier?

I'm looking for a case for my original Bald Eagle rest with windage top. I have an older case made of aluminum, but its sharp edges tear up the trunk of my car. I was wondering if one of the Caldwell "rest nests" they make for their knockoff triangular rest will fit the Bald Eagle. I don't mind taking the windage top off if need be. Thanks. I've spent a lot of time lurking on this board and learned plenty. I seem to have a hard time getting relevant results using the search engine, so if this has already been covered, please forgive me.

I carry mine in a plastic milk crate. It was free try one its rounded edges won't harm anything.

I use a Action Packer by Rubbermaid, it measures 20x14x12, believe it is the smallest one they make. My Bald Eagle and my Hart fit well and carry all the other stuff. $12 at WalMart or Target. You will have to put a plywood bottom in it to keep the points from going through.
