Is a Protektor small owl bag good for AR-15s, .22 rifles and M1 Garand? I'd like the bag to be wider to fit the rest but is the 2 1/2 wide Owl bag stable enough?

If itll tie on there itll work. You wont like the hoppes base diameter for much over a 22 so plan on looking for another rest. Dont put too much money in there
top weight is epoxied to the spindle lock ring. bag is attached with #6 hardware. 10# heavier than factory... only thing is the down travel is impacted... i tried a tie on but didn't like how it slid around.
I use zip ties on mine , seems to work well.
I was thinking of how to add some weight and I do have some weights sitting around, good idea. Also got zip ties anywho I won't be doing any precision competition type shooting, I just wanted something I can use for a variety of long guns with a wider bag.
