Backup choices

I’ve got a bunch of .44s….and a handful of .444s

I also have a 329. It is awesomely light…and not for a casual shooter.

While it is not made for a steady diet of Buffalo Bore, I’ve got some tailored, hard cast loads that I’m comfortable will stop a bear if I need it. Be aware. With a stout load you will have one good shot….then you’ll be pulling the gun down with all your might for the second…with a stout load it will move you quite a bit…even if you are comfortable with a heavy .44 load

The trigger is great, and it is crazy accurate. But I don’t shoot it often, because it is a special purpose carry gun. The range does stop and stare when I do fire the Bear loads…they are not over book loads, but they still put on a show.

If you are only shooting it a little…it will be great. If you want to shoot it alot…get a stainless mountain gun. If you want to shoot heavy loads alot…get a Ruger Redhawk.
