Back in reloading room

Well here it is 7 weeks since major surgery and I can finally get back to the reloading bench.
I have 200 rounds prepped and ready from before the surgery and today I was able to charge 50 of them and I seated 10 bullets and then had to call it a day.
Sitting with the stretching and twisting was starting to get painful all through out my abdominal region, not sure which one of the 5 incessions is causing it but the other day the doc said give it time.
All in all just happy to be able to go down stairs and do some thing.

Glad you're back in the "saddle".

I had double hernia surgery on May 8, 2020 - It wasn't until late June that I could resume ground hogging and then only where I could walk a short distance and set up on my sportsman's chair with my shooting stick. By late August I was able to resume walking in the field carrying a rifle and my chair.

I know how hard it is to restrain one's self but be patient and follow your doctor's instructions.

Sir I have been there. GLAD you are able to get back to something you enjoy. Tommy Mc. I was happy when I could get up and put my boots on.With out help.

Good to hear your getting back to it . Take your time and do what you can do . Have had eleven major surgeries throughout my life , and each one required it's own healing / recovery time . Kind of like eating a elephant . One bite at a time .

Glad you are back on your feet!

Keep moving as much as you can take every day.

We don't heal like we did when we were youngsters, but humans don't do well sitting still.

I usually load between 1& 200 cases at a time right now I am able to sit through 25-50, but I do some every day so if I'm able I will be ready for the first match of the season in mid May.
I am loading for 6BR. 30BR and 30x47. Generally shoot 2 guns but will be happy if I can shoot just 1 for a 2 day match. If I can it will be my hunter class ( 30x47).
