I'm looking for a spring for the Mossberg 26 to go with the part I'm going to make for a guy who got his Grandfathers rifle. It's missing a part and a spring.

I'm going to make the part, but still need to find a spring that I can send with the part. The guy is a fireman, this is a freebe to help him out.

It's a compression spring, .250" Outside Diameter, 12 coils per inch and a wire size of.035" diameter. It needs to be 1.312" or longer.

If anyone has one this size or even close as to the wire diameter, please send me a PM.

I'm going to take my caliper to the hardware store and see what I can come up with.

If you could check the springs you have laying around, I know a guy who would appriciate it a lot. I must have 400 springs, but most are smaller. PM me if you find one, thanks.

Don't have one but, close to my home, we have a Sears Hardware store. It has a large selection of springs. Also True Value carries some sizes. Hope this helps. Hog

Thanks guys, found what I needed, I was making a part for an old rifle that required a spring also, part is made and the spring someone sent fits perfect, it's always nice to help someone get an old rifle shooting again, we need to preserve every old rifle we can, in stock condition if possible so the future generations can enjoy the oldies as we now do.
