AZ State Palma results

David a great record! Congratulations.

Jim not too bad for an “old geezer”, two State Championships back to back, a week apart! Keep it up!

All of us had a great time in very windy conditions. Had great shooters and great friends participate over three wonderful days. Thanks Mid and Nancy Tompkins for hosting this match!

Congratulations Jim Murphy! Looks like you're having a pretty amazing winter in sunny AZ.

A clean with 30? Nice shooting David. That's pretty amazing.

Any F-TR results?

Congrats to Ryan Hayes - that kid is getting tough! I bet the AMU would be happy to sign him up.

Do F-Class shooters not like the Palma course of fire? Seems like in general, F-Class outnumbers sling in most prone matches, but in Palma it is way lopsided the other way.

I don't think that F-class guys don't like a Palma match. I personally love that venue! I think it was so close to the long range match last week, that most people from out of town picked either the long range, or the Palma but not both. The long range state match had better attendance last week and the people that I knew from out of town, left after that. We had different out of town people in for the Palma. It was just less people this time. I'm hoping that maybe for next year, we can spread these two events apart more and capture better attendance that way. I'm going to work on that. We'll see.

Thanks

Allan.

Thanks to all including Jack and Richard for the line and pits. Alan, Nick, and Dan for keeping it light. Then Mid and Nancy for one more great shooting experience. A touch less wind than gusting 40MPH on Saturday would have made it a little easier but who doesn't like a challenge. Score cards looked like a dead mans hand Aces and 8's. Thanks to all. The BSWN is coming I cant wait to see what the Berger has in-store for us.
