Awesome Parting Tool

The parting tool that makes parting a non event! This is the tool that has never failed me. It has never grabbed or done anything crazy in the 20 years of use. I am still on the original box of inserts purchased
at the same time as the tool decades ago. Parting or grooving should not be a full contact sport. Lol.

What’s the maximum diameter that will part, and what’s the width of the cut?

I have never had a problem with "T" style blades as long:
A. the tip of the blade is on the centerline
B. the part is not too far out of the chuck
C. bit is perpendicular to the chuck centerline

The Tapered blades were giving me fits, and when I found the T style worked so well, I purchased 10 life time supplies of them...jeez.

I touch up The T style blades on a Harbor freight belt grinder, very infrequently.

1" max diameter and inserts are .120 wide. Great tool!

I like iscar stuff! They do make blades and holders for smaller machines...
