I have the Auto Trickler V2 and have had some problems with it over throwing charges by as much as 2 tenth's of a grain. What I noticed, is that after about 15 rounds the trickler would vibrate as it slowed down and overthrow the target weight. I tried several work-arounds after moving the slider on the back to the lowest position. I put a weight to stop the trickler to stop it from hopping and overthrowing. I also tried placing a business card under the front to elevate the powder tube to slow down the rate of fall. It worked about half the time, but still not perfect.
I then came across the Billet adjustable base by Area 419 (http://www.area419.com/product/at-base/). This is a CNC machined heavy base. I ran 50 rounds through and did not have any overthrown problem. The hopping stopped and the trickler remained where placed. It weighs about a pound and the adjustable base allows you to level the powder tube or elevate as necessary.
