Have a number of firearms to sell, was wondering what the best auction site is these days. Have used Gunbroker in the past, is there a better option? Thanks!

I have had good luck both buying and selling on Gunrunner. That said, the fees and buyers premium is taking a bite. And, I am not a fan of the new website. As with all auctions keep both eyes open.

I have had excellent luck selling stuff here. I am an FFL, often the middle man, which is my own pain in the butt sometimes but very positive experiences with all the folks here. I vote post here first. You have already ponied up for the service so why not?

If you want relatively hassle free, check with local gunshops. Most in my area will take a firearm, tale photos, professionally advertise on gunbroker, handle all the paperwork, transfer and shipping. All one has to do is go collect the check. Commissions vary from 15% to 30%. As others will advise with doing it yourself, PITA issues can arise.
