Attention match directors

Hey guys, got the bright idea to attach paster holders on all the target carriers, Thought I'd pass it along. Going to use binder clips attached with zip ties to the cross bars under the targets. May speed up a few guys and save wasted pasters blowing around in the pit.

A push pin on a string of pasters on the sighter target works great.

I was going to issue roofing nails or get magnets or... But all that gets lost or walks off. Got some newbe guys to train next match so the first problem would be them fumbling around one handed while holding a strip of pasters. This should fix the problem and last in the pit. Should have been done years ago.

Push pins are cheap, so if they walk off it doesn't cost much. Plus I don't think they would cause a flat tire like a roofing nail would. Our pasties Come on a roll and you just tear a strip off and hang on target frame. It works pretty good. There are always one or two that seem to be able to mess it up though. Matt

Attached makes the most sense to me. If guys such as yourself have a favored option, all the better. Ya I threw the nail idea out pretty quick. Lol
My plan is to make 5 sec pullers from guys with no experience or little to bad habits. This was just a part of the thought process toward accomplishing that.

Mike, I have used the binder clip with angle iron cross bars. Lately been attaching pasters with gorilla tape to round bars. The tie wraps are a great idea with the binder clips.

I think it was mostly Joe's idea to use those since we can get them easy and we can't do much else on pipe without drilling a hole. About 2 min on the phone and we ended with it being the only practical fix. I think it's going to get used a lot since its right there where you need it-reach it when the target is up.

I pull off the pasters I need for a string, loop it twice around whatever crossbar I can reach when the target's up, secure the ends to each other with a loose paster... usually a white one 'cause those don't get used as much.

You do your part, you can count on me for a 5-7 seconds puller.

This is for slow fire of course; rapids means pasters are ready & waiting onced the golf tees get pulled.
