Full combat gear. Ready for force on force but that’s not historically how this happens. Disappointed in SS and Pennsylvania state and local LE. The 20 year old didn’t elude the public, but even with the call out, he still set up prone on a roof and fired his shots.

Who knows how long he lay there undisturbed and aiming. This was an amateur. A pro succeeds 98/100 times, yesterday. Rethink presidential security SS.

SS on a nearby roof and the largest rooftop a short 150 yds away was unsecured??
A person in the crowd spotted the guy on roof and was pointing at him for 3 mins trying to get attention on him before he fired.

This is either extreme incompetence by the security or a set up. It's that simple.

The shooter’s name should not even be released, there should be no talk about the shooter, these type of crazy people do it for attention, don’t give it to them.

The focus and digging for information should be dedicated to finding out how this was even able to happen. From the pictures of the area, it doesn’t look like there were hundreds of roofs to keep an eye on, only a few. Obviously the security failed, probably just got complacent.

Nobody in their right mind would do it gun owner or not. Looks like it was a 20yo from Pennsylvania. Many places are reporting he was a registered republican. I wonder what the motive actually was. Might have been what the voices were telling him to do.

No shooter before has ever been identified as Democrat or Republican for days. This time it was an hours. Everything is wrong about this that shooter is dead to keep his mouth shut. Certainly an event that seemed to be predictable enough, it was just a matter of when it'd happen, no if about it. The fist pump vid & pics is one that'll never die, as well as the one with the shooter down, will certainly live alongside Kennedy and Reagan stuff. Being on his SS detail has to be a gong show of epic proportion. Glad he is OK, bet there were a few quotes from under that pile worthy of Samuel L Jackson.
