I don't believe that for a minute. Site security survey would have identified that position in advance and had (at the very least) eyes on it. More likely, that site would have been occupied. Had I been in charge of site security, there would have been bodies on that roof line. Anybody with a brain would have done the same. You DO NOT leave a spot like that (inside of 200 yards with a clear line of sight to a high value target) unsecured. I emphasize DO NOT.

Something is rotten in Denmark.
 
JLT,.. Maybe,. but, I'm just reporting what, I've Read & Saw from, the Guy in the Red Trump Hat And from, looking at the Photo of the "Layout",.. it looked plausible, to me ( Antifa Sniper, Behind, Roof Peak ?? )

Trump will, in all likelihood, now go “scorched earth” on his political enemies.

He will point out that ever since he road down that escalator in the 2016 campaign to announce his intention to run for President, a vast opposition has done everything imaginable to bring him down. The entire FALSE Russia fiasco. The phony impeachment. The multiple indictments on what amounts to made up charges. The never ending haranguing in the majority of the Main Stream Media.

He has stood tall and stood firm through it all.

And now, they have tried to kill him. I repeat. They tried to kill him!

This is no time to come together in prayer and have a phony “Kumbaya” moment. This is time for President Trump to declare war on these vile people who will lie and cheat about anything to stay in power.

Apologies, Idaho. I didn't mean to direct that at you. I've read much of the same, including reports that did their best to describe gun fire as 'popping noises' and other such things.

I've been gathering what I can on this, and I'm left to conclude that incompetence or subterfuge are at work here. An elevated position with a clear line of sight within 200 yards of a high value target was left unsecured. That is absolutely mind-boggling. Professionals in this line of work do not let something like that go unnoticed. Period. Full stop.

Something doesn't add up, and in a big way.

Exactly why the overheads of the site and eyewitness reports are important. There is absolutely no way a professional detail would have left that roof line unoccupied. Not a chance, unless they were instructed otherwise or all of them just happened to go stupid at the same time.

I pains me to agree, but I do. I pray with all that I'm worth that the Greater Angels prevail in this moment in history. I love the founding ideals of this magnificent nation and this event causes me indescribable pain.
 
I just happened to turn the tv on as this was unfolding, clicked over to ABC which provided excellent live coverage as well as lots of replays. Not sure if anyone else can view this video, but it's the whole clip. For whatever reason it only plays on one of my three browsers. If you go to this site and it shows left side like the pic you should be good to go. I hear the shooter, then return fire (presumably), then some seconds break and one more shot heard (33sec) which you kinda know was a shot because everyone reacts to it. Then the all clear and they work on getting him off stage.

At that range and where the mics are your hearing the super sonic crack rather than the muzzle report.

SS knew the shooter was there. They were either in the process of confirming friend of foe or giving them an opportunity to do what they were planted there for. Breaking an already aimed shot after hearing gunfire would be a plausible way to achieve a 200yd head shot. Popping one off on a fleeing terrorist is less likely.

Very curious for new details to come out. Especially about the shooter, and to see how MSM (both sides) will spin this. I'm a youngin. I wasent alive for the last assassination attempt on Regan, so this is a first in my world. Either way, somthing just doesn't seem right, be it some internal plot or lack of competent security he's incredibly lucky to be alive. Screenshot_20240714-004236.png

Forum Boss: Note that the snipers were apparently sighting directly at the shooter BEFORE the initial shots were fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks. There are two Secret Service snipers. One with his rifle on a tripod and the second in a lower position.

My wife was there as I watched it unfold on live TV. She is fine. Lot of emotions. The assasination attempt doesn’t surprise me. She and I spoke of this numerous times and felt it was just a matter of when and not if. Who knows what the motives were, but the hate directed at Trump knows know bounds.
