Attachment method of LabRadar recoil trigger

Looking for better ideas to attach the recoil trigger to various rifles besides velcro. I also have their picatinny rail holder but that will not work with several of my benchrest stocks. Thinking about some kind of "clip" that will snap on somehow???

There are scope tube mounted data card holders from various vendors. If you're crafty enough you could probably modify one of them to work.

I know some guys tape them on and like that method but could cause some paint removal depending on the tape used.

I epoxied a small picatinny rail to a strong magnet and attached the picatinny rail trigger holder to that. Put a piece of gaffer tape on back side of magnet so it did not scratch stock or action.

I use a cargo tie, basically a giant rubberized twist tie. Fold it in half around the trigger and twist it tight, that leaves two long tails to wrap around your scope tube, handguard, bipod or front rest.

How about the stuff they wrap around your arm after they draw a blood sample? It should hold it in place well and is easy to remove. I don't know if it is inexpensive.

Why not use the magnetic adaptor from JKL? I used it and it worked well. Another poster told me that he merely wrapped the wire around the scope tube and let the trigger hang. I tried it for laughs and found that it worked.

Go with the magnet.

I just put one end of the rubber band on the windage turret go under the scope with the rubber band back up over the trigger on top of the elevation turret a back to the windage turret.

I made this for myself a while back:

JKL now sells the equivalent of the plastic picatinny rail mount that had a magnet imbedded in the base. A friend recently purchased one and it works very well. I don't need another one, and I'm rather fond of my "home-made" magnetic mount. Nonetheless, if I didn't already have it, I would buy JKL's commercial version...it's far less expensive than the one I made for myself and very nicely done:
