My Email flyer from Midsouth shows this stuff. I'm assuming it must have plutonium bullets or some such. You can get fifty rounds of 762x39 for only 80 bucks. -- whoops, I mean $79.99.

Never did goin slower, cost so much. They're putting a 220 gr bullet in the x39, and I can hardly wait to try them in my SKSsssss. jd

jds, I have some brown bear 196gr. 7.62x39, (sub sonic) that I bought to use in one spot I hunted because the brush is so thick that if you have shoot, it may be the only shot you have time to do. The bears in there now are in what we call here the fall feeding frenzy and aren't very friendly this time of year. (and of course it's also elk season)

This is the only way in this little canyon and the only way out. To make things even more interesting is that if you get your elk here you have to bring it out the same way you went in and this is where the elk go during hunting season.
These are FMJ bullets that I file the point off of to help them expand, the shots are 100yds at max and more likely 25-50yds. The elk are worth it and I should point out here that at this age I simply have a few box's of this ammo left and I use it just to blow up melons.

I dont think it’ll stabilize. The 8 twist the 300 blackout uses is the only reason that cartridge works . I’ll be interested if anyone tests this on paper at different ranges , 25, 50 , 75, 100 yds .
