Do you recall if one tool head is thicker than the other? I have a couple of setups that have the Mighty Armory Gen 1 sizing dies that have minimal amount of threads available when using the Whidden tool head.I'm going to assume you mean the floating versions right? Having used both, I like them both and wouldn't hesitate to use either and conceptually they do the same thing. Here's my simple breakdown of the two.
I like them both and have owned multiple of each but for me personally, the edge went to Armanov because of the ability to choose any of the 5 positions.
- Whidden
- Fixed pin in only two of the five positions
- Silver color only
- $78
- Armanov
- Screw that can be used in any of the 5 positions
- two colors (red and blue)
- $67
Thanks! The Armanov is sale dimensions as a standard Dillon. Don’t remember on Whidden ( I don’t have them anymore)
Yes I currently have 5 of them. Really great toolheads for the money and tons of colors.Has anyone tried these https://joferusa.com/collections/di...tool-head-billet-aluminum-cnc-made-toolhead-2
I use their 550 tool heads..
I use the Dillon pins on those. The upside down one is just because, no reason.Do you lock the Jofer toolheads down or use the Dillon pins? I’m curious, why the upside down toolhead? Thanks
