Arizona's Ammo Inc. Coming to WI.

Not sure how much of what they manufacture in the line of ammunition is of interest to the board members of AS, but they have acquired Jagemann Stamping's brass cartridge casing division and are building a new facility in Manitowoc, WI. I am not familiar with their brass. Wish they manufactured primers At least if Charlie Berens mentions them in his "Manitowoc Minutes" I'll know what he's talking about.

You probably have to be from WI. to dig Charlie's Manitowoc Minutes. I think it's a hoot! If you're a Bears fan you probably shouldn't check this out!

Went on their website yesterday. Looked like a big part of their product line is 223 fmj etc. Not so much anything we're interested in but anything business wise for the firearms industry is a plus IMO. Looked at the news just long enough this morning to figure out we are in for tough times nationally and no way now to stem the tide.

A few years ago when Jagemann's started making brass, I took a little trip up there. The receptionist was very quite about it. Never seen for sale around here. My wife deals with them with them in her duties at work. Some of the fellows she works with believed last fall that they could get ammo for their deer rifles from them. I laughed at her, not knowing about Arizona deal deal in the offing. Maybe these guys knew something. At parties I am many times asked shooting related questions, mainly will I sight in their deer rifles. I also know nothing about the quality of their products. Last winter stocked (mainly Remington and Winchester) up on brass for my deer and varmint rifle. Who knew, I was a profit. Guess I'm not a profit, just been around the block a time or 2. Lots of hand wringing at the range this morning. May have a large amount of components, but it is finite.
