Stock has a clear cartouche
Mil issue 22 1/2 barrel. Bore scoped and about excellent
Original wood stock in VG condition
Usual dings Shows fiddleback striping
Factory trigger
Original hinged magazine and floorplate
About 90% original finish.

Free bump with a story. These are great guns. I think they are the nicest looking of the old Mauser's. I bought one of these when I was 13 years old (67 now) through a catalog back when you could order these right to your house. My brother (12 at the time) ordered the same gun only the sporterized version. I found the correct bayonet for it. Gave it to my nephew a couple of years ago and he still has it. He loves it. My brother still has his as well.

I bought one of these, action only; and had a 404 Jefferys built for Africa. It is a shame this one is too nice to do that on. Good 98's and OM 70's; still the best for building a DGR on.
