Are there two different 257 Raptors?

When going to Gary Reeders pages he lists his 257 Raptor as being on the 204 Ruger case but when you Google 257 Raptor it says it fits a AR action and it is what the 25-45 should have been And you can form brass from 223.

Any info on these, or are they the same?

I know of the 257 Kimber, which is fireformed from a necked up 204 Ruger, but had never heard of the 257 Raptor.

All I found in a quick search was this. Seems that it can be made from .223/5.56, 222, or .222mag (parent of .204 Ruger) brass, but is most similar to the .222 by way of case taper.

It was developed by the codesigner of the 6.5 Grendel. Looks like his sequel cartridges won’t enjoy the success of the original.
