Are the Rem 700 Clone actions all basically the same?

I have a Mc Millan A5, built for a DEFIANCE action and Surgeon DBM. Can I simply substitute a STILLER TAC 30 or 591R SURGEON without too many issues? I'm assuming the 700 clone actions are all pretty much the same concerning stock fit.

Certainly standard bottom metal or Badger or Surgeon DBM would make a difference, but generally speaking with the same bottom metal.

As far as fitting in an inletted stock ,yes, pretty much. The only slight modifications would be the bolt handle cut which would depend if the action has a traditional Rem 700 swept back handle or a straight handle like a Surgeon. The side bolt release may cause the need for some slight modifications. If you went to a Surgeon you would need to modify the stock slightly for the bolt release as theirs is shrouded.
