I started at age 14 when my money was scarce and my time worthless. I was given the reloading equipment, but kept track and it paid for itself in two years.
However, since then it has become a hobby and there is no way I am "saving" money. I am spending it and having a literal blast. I am now 59 and plan to leave enough loaded ammo and "makins" for my kids that they will be able to take a few zombies with them when they go!
I just finished prepping 200 20 VT , loading 100 223 and decrimping 500 223 tonight. I have 2000 223 ready to load and another 1000+ ready for the Dillon decrimper.
Oh, and a full mud bucket full of 40SW ready for the progressive, and 2000 9mm too. Plus about 500 222 that need reloaded.
Oh, and I have a 7-30 Waters barrel, scope, dies, brass enroute as I write.
yup, saving money hand over fist here.....
