Arca for Seb JOYPOD x

I’m just guessing, since I haven’t had a Joypod for a while, but I believe the 2 bolt spacing is pretty standard.

Looks like two options are possible. Easiest way is arca clamp with pic adapter through area 419. Second would be removing pic clamp from joypod and make adapter that would bolt in place then you can bolt arca clamp to it. This would be pretty easy also just 2 countersink holes to joypod and 2 thread holes for arca clamp, this would would be lower in overall height.

Awesome thanks for the input, I’ll have to get measurements when mine comes !

Experimenting with "double duties" (two in one) picatinny and Arca attachment.
I could probably make it as standard in the future?
The picatinny piece with T-slots, if it's still required, I have to make it a bit taller (about 1,5- 2mm taller) to be able to use it, assuming the foreend bottom is flat.
Also that I have to make the attachment to accept most aftermarket Arca because some seems to be smaller than standard. *(See the gap between the main part and the clamping plate, it would allow to grip the smaller Arca)
What do you think?

Arca on top left, Picatinny top right, the experiment bellow.

The experiment bellow, I want to keep it to be as light as possible.

The detail. Alum 7075 is used on any parts that need to be stronger.

Yeah to me that fixes both issues and makes it more universal for everyone . Awesome work Seb! But in the mean time I’d like to purchase the Arca adapter for the joypodx.

Plus the universal clamp would make it easier for you logistically because you would only need to stock one clamp, same clamp on all bipods. Win Win, best of both worlds.
