Daddy Dick Powers( the hammer) took the show on the road this weekend. He flew to Texas for a visit with Speedy and he carried him to the match at the Austin shooting center on Sunday. Dick showed the Texans that Virginia boys know how to shoot also. Dick won the match with a good 250-23× score, there was a 3 way tie at 250-21× for 2nd thru 4th. Good shooting!

Some of Sunday’s ARC going’s on! The winner Dick “Hammer” Powers and victory meal at The Barn Door in San Antonio afterwards!
Dick cam down to spend a weekend of fellowship with me to do a podcast with Ben Brubaker Overall winner of the Tack Driver VI. I convinced the Hammer to bring his s ore rig down with him and shoot the Austin Rifle Club match this past Sunday. He demonstrated how he won the Tack Driver and put on a clinic here in the Heart of Texas, when the dust settled the Hammer’s 250-23X took 1st place back to Black Stone VA with him.
The podcast with Ben, Dick and myself and my shooting buddy Kevin Love should air New Year’s Day or Friday the 2nd at the latest. Stay Tuned!!!
